vCard QR Codes: Put Your Contact Details on a Business Card
A vCard QR code lets someone save your name, phone, email and website to their contacts by scanning, with no typing.
How to create one
- Open the generator and choose the vCard type.
- Fill in your name, phone number, email, company, job title and website.
- Download the code as SVG for print or PNG for screens.
- Scan it with a phone and check every field saved correctly.
Keep it scannable on a small card
- Every extra field makes the code denser. Include only what people really need.
- On a standard business card, print the code at least 2 cm wide.
- Leave a clear white margin around it.
Privacy note
A vCard code is static: the details sit inside the image. Anyone who scans it can read them, so do not include a home address or a number you do not want shared.
If your details change
A static code cannot be edited. Print a new card, or use a code that links to a web page you control. Read static vs dynamic QR codes for the trade-offs.
